something about my journey-
I am a musician/composer, sound designer, re-recording mixer, field recordist and supervising sound editor in Los Angeles, and I have a very deep affinity for independent cinema and collaborating with fellow artists internationally.
My career is now over 30 years in the making with over 200 credits for Feature Film, Television/streaming, Video Games and Music. Some of my credits are- Letters from Iwo Jima (winner Academy Award and MPSE Golden Reel Award for best sound effects editing), U-571 (winner Academy Award for best sound editing), The Pacific (winner Emmy Award and MPSE Golden Reel for best sound effects editing), Extraction II, Seal TEAM, Spiderman, Twister, Starship Troopers, Fantastic Four, Constantine, Tomb Raider, After Earth, Moneyball, Fast (and the Furious) 5 and others… Video game credits include Call of Duty, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Medal of Honor, BLACK, Need For Speed, James Bond Quantum of Solace, Resident Evil 5, Peter Gabriel’s Xplora1 and many more. Some of the more interesting sound effects and musical sound libraries I have worked on include Blast, and Bullets Reimagined with Frank Bry/The Recordist, The "Poke in the Ear with a Sharp Stick" series of industrial music sample libraries for Rarefaction, and the “Tension" and “Intervention" sound libraries from Soundmorph. my work can also be found in sound effects libraries from Sound Ideas, The Hollywood Edge, and Blastwave.
