Peter Albrechtsen is an award winning Danish sound designer, mixer and music supervisor working on both Danish and international feature films and documentaries. Recent credits include horror smash hit Evil Dead Rise and festival favorites Omaha, Mother and 100 Liters of Gold. In 2017, Peter was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and earlier this year, he was nominated for a MPSE Golden Reel Award for the feature length doc Viktor – one of the most prestigious US film sound awards. Peter also works as music supervisor and has collaborated with internationally acclaimed musicians like Jóhann Jóhannsson, Disasterpeace and Efterklang. Has written about music and movies for different Danish and international magazines and has been lecturing about sound design around the world.
